Welcome to The Dog Mom, where I believe that every dog deserves the best nutrition and the owners deserve transparency. Founded by myself - Erin Onyskow, a passionate dog mom - in her dog mom era.

So, you might recognize my name. I owned Discover Massage Therapy, located in Granger. After 15 years as a massage therapist and eight highly successful years in business, I felt it was time to reinvent myself. And, what a joy it has been to develop The Dog Mom over the past 2 years! I am so proud of my hard work and am excited for you to be here (and to place an order!).​

How did this start? Simply enough. I needed a solution to Isaac's allergy issues and Sparky suffers from chubby potato syndrome (he's fat). I thought I was feeding my dogs a healthy diet with a "high quality" dog food. But in reality, it was making them unhealthy, lethargic, itchy and tubby. If I eat to prioritize my health and wellness, why am I not feeding my dogs that way, too? Duh, Erin. That fueled my desire to highlight transparency and locally sourced ingredients, while I was developing these recipes. Our dogs do not need by-products, propylene glycol, food coloring or 'meat meal'. Gross.
